J.C. is a Buckaroo Balladeer that lives on a small ranch in the West Desert of Utah, out where the sage brush blows and wild horses roam. He has a unique musical sound that is pure Cowboy. He is deeply rooted in the Western lifestyle and lives it every day. He is a member of the Western Music Association and The Academy of Western Artists and has been called "one of the bright, new, "up and comers" in Western music" by Lefty Wright of The Golden Spike Cowboy Poetry Festival. He has been honored by being nominated multiple times for 'Male Vocalist of the Year' by the Academy of Western Artists. In his younger years, he has rodeo'd with some of the toughest cowboys around which is probably why he seldom ever won. He has ridden, trained, been thrown by and shod horses. He has roped, branded, been ran over by and doctor'd cattle and horses. He's rode, built, tore down and been thrown through countless miles of fence...then, he's built some more fence. In short, he sings about what he knows. He sings about horses, he sings about the West, he sings about...The Cowboy.
