The first songs for Intimate Method's debut album Zebra were written by Jan Drozdovski back in 2004. All the songs were written during 2004-2009 period. Jan: "I was just nineteen when I wrote the first song for the album. Those five years were very important years of my youth. First love, first heartbreak, a lot of things happened for the first time in my life." Zebra is a confession - a confession about what a young man goes through emotionally when he grows up, his experiences from big love and life in general. As the album name suggests, there are bright as well as dark songs. Endless romantics atmosphere, slip & slide between different emotional states, grabbing melodies - characterize Zebra. Jan: "I am sure that many will share the emotions in my songs. I think that, for a musician, the most important is knowing that somebody else not only understands your music, but also feels emotionally attached to it. After all - music is about emotions."
