The First Symphony has been my first really daring composition. I started to composed it in July 1999 and finished in March 2000, so it's a sort of 'Millenium' work. I had designed it and composed it as a four movement composition, respecting it's inner demands and the lawfulness of a symphonic musical form; together with it's musical inventivness, it's exuberant and many-coloured orchestral sections, it's instrumentation, and last but not least, with it's extent and legth. In this composition, I had closely followed my artistic priciples and had pledged to work within the spirit of the elevated Western musical civilization norms, which have been known to us for the past six hundred years. In this regard, I wanted to achieve the joy of creativity ante the joy of doing ma own work, being a part of ma life style, as well as deeply connecting with the most basic of my personality.
