Yeeling for Fizz
Founder of famous Swedish technolabel Eternithouse Records (STHLM). Producing together with Stephan Eisgaard (Minimal soul Rec, Sweet Smelling Suraces, Finest Blend Rec) in the duo MonitorComplex, but this is the vocalist Idamo's first solo album. Earlier works can be found on vinyl, CD and digital under the name Ida Moberg and Robotnica. This album is about love, sex and relationships as much lyrics in housemusic is. But this is very subjective and self-revealing. The album is a journey through dogmatic sounds with spices of vintage electro, minimal techno and true classic house. Vocals on 75% of the tracks. The compilation is balanced to control your mood with sensitivity. No down-tempo! - bpm around 116-130. Idamo's performance is very excentric and fearless of consequenses despite there is no explicit content. She has her roots in jazz and classical music and attended at Stockholms only conservatory of popular music before she began to produce electronic music full-time. She has never had any intentions of becoming a producer of popular music despite that her earlier releases has a touch of vintage electro pop. But this debute-album is a statement that she belongs to true techno & house music. But her intentions is to invite new listeners to the genre. To perhaps make the listener become one of 'those who knows'. Eternithouse Records delivers music to dj's such as Dave Clarke, Orlando Voorn, Umek and many moore. But the An'R choosed to put this album on the sub-label ehr-ASBEST to mark that it is a record not only for dj's. It is a album for the wide music collector with interest in a wider music-historical view. Maby for those who want to get a nice and sensitive introduction to this sound and at the same time get the perfect record for several occations. Idamo's - 'Yeling for fizz' is seductive and impressing and might be the album of the year of it's genre!
