Hospital Garden plays indie rock with a dynamic varying from soft to aggressively loud. Their live sets demand attention, with passionate and intense performances. Earnest lyrics and infectious melodies, soaring guitar riffs, along with spastic outbursts of noise, grab both the ear and the eye. Hospital Garden has had the honor of opening for Robert Pollard of Guided by Voices and Evan Dando of The Lemonheads, as well as many other amazing touring acts. They have played all over the Midwest and have made friends wherever they have gone. They are originally from Dayton, but have since moved to Chicago. In both cities, they have made their mark and have played at the most established venues available. This album was put out with the help of the Ann Arbor label Cerberus and was recorded with Todd Tobias, who has worked a great deal with Guided by Voices/Robert Pollard.
