HarmonicEarth is a solo project by Matthew Thoma, Executive Producer at Lotus Temple Productions. HarmonicEarth's music blends the songs and sounds of the natural world with world beats and voices of cultural rich instruments such as the Sitar from India, Native American wood flute, Mayan/Aztec clay flutes, Celtic harp, Gypsy violin, Acoustic guitar, Bass guitar, and many different percussive instruments from around the world. Influenced by Asian and Native American cultures, the music of HarmonicEarth reflects those culture's respect and reverence towards the Natural world and all of It's children. Matthew Thoma formed HarmonicEarth in 2006 as an outlet for his musical writing and compositions. Having played bass guitar since the age of 12 in various bands and recording projects, Matthew yearned for the chance to really express himself fully. That dream became a reality when Matthew discovered the Native American flute and almost simultaneously the Sitar from India. Those two instruments blended together give HarmonicEarth it's soul and identity. Along the way, Matthew added the Celtic harp and Gypsy violin to his collection of instruments. Combining music composed from the heart with the songs of the natural world, HarmonicEarth's music creates an ambient soundscape that relaxes, soothes, and nourishes the soul. Whether it is background music for complimentary art forms, or just for listening pleasure, HarmonicEarth strives to bring balance and peace to the listener. Experience the world of HarmonicEarth for yourself with the newest CD, "Mystic Gypsy".
