The everyday events and objects of a child's life are the subjects of Mayer's songs - from the difficulty of putting on a snow suit to the fun of swinging on the monkey bars in the playground. As in his four other CDs for children, the songs use a child's point of view to convey the fun, humor, tenderness, and good times of a child's life. 'The Traveling Song' paints the child's view of a family vacation where some of the sights are missed because the kids are fighting over comic books in the back seat of the car. 'Train, Train' captures the child's fascination with trains and follows it with the traditional song, ' I've Been Working on the Railroad.' The title track, 'Good Morning' features the voices of a first grade classroom and 'The Little Pumpkin' is the story of the pumpkin that almost didn't get picked for Halloween. The 'Little Cowboy Lullaby' finishes the CD with a sweet, end-of-the-day tune that puts the hard-playing cowgirls and cowboys to bed. Hans' beautiful, mellow voice is accompanied by guitar, mandolin, and bass.
