Hank Williams was born in Tennessee, not to far from Nashville, in the community of Cumberland Furnace. As a small boy one of his favorite pastimes was fishing from the banks of the Cumberland River with his grandpa. He is also an author of several books on the B-Western Cowboy Stars and attends many film festivals across the country. He has now taken on a new venture, trying his hand at writing country music songs, music and lyrics, after being encouraged by the people in the business in Nashville. His songs, like his books tell a great story. Since growing up on the Cumberland River, he has always loved country music as it was back then. When we had the likes of Jim Reeves, Marty Robbins, Eddie Arnold, Ernest Tub, the Old Hank Williams and Conway Twitty. All of the songs on these CD's, lyrics and music, were written by Hank. His personal favorite is 'Until I'm Free', it's his epitaph. Play them and let us know .....what you think? SWEETWATER-MUSIC (SMI) Kathy Taylor.
