In The Dream Stone you will hear a variety of moods and styles, many influenced admittedly by artists I've grown to admire. Vangelis and Jean Michel Jarre come to mind but only, I hope, subtly. Most of the music in The Dream Stone is upbeat and frankly a little whimsical, but there are exceptions like the menacing mood of Nightstalker and the gloomy Nightwind. I tend to use a symphonic style, massing sampled sounds and adding electronic elements to build mass and sonority. If you like surprises (plesant and startling alike), and you enjoy music that stimulates fantastic images and moods, you'll find yourself playing The Dream Stone over and over.
