Snow Is Melting for Christmas
This must be the first ever Global Warming Christmas CD. The holidays are a time for hope, joy and reflection. It is a time of worship for many of the world's religions and a time to appreciate what we have. We could ask ourselves if we are also giving enough reverence to the planet we all share. This CD takes the listener on a journey through the aspects of hope and joy; from the love and dreams of, Away into Summer to the tone painting of White Snow. Along this journey we contemplate the message of religious tolerance, in All the World's Religions, discus today's economics and redemption, in Corporate Man, visit celebrations on the other side of the world in Te Harinui, and even revisit Bach. It is almost impossible to think about this time of the year without considering children and this work includes the child's perspective not only in appreciation of his teacher and of Joy to the World but also in remembrance of loss the end of the year brings in Danny Boy. This CD is the continuing journey of Love of Christmas and introduces the beautiful and expressive voice of Sarah Osbourne to many of the tracks. There is nothing quite so beautiful as the human voice singing without accompaniment and Once in Royal David's City comes alive with the richness her voice brings. Listen and enjoy music and ideas that make life worthwhile.
