We recorded this album in a smokey, dingy basement on Beacon Hill in Seattle, WA @ the end of summer '09. Though it was a basement, the daytime lighting was spectacular and @ night we had a couple weak lamps and a red light on the ceiling. The equipment was tip top and Kyle Porter of UnsoundAmerica is a killer sound engineer and was great to work w/. Our original goal was to record a 6-9 track EP that we would use to front ourselves to a label or some kind of sponsor for a full length album. After recording all nine songs in just four days and being completely blown away at how bad ass everything sounded, we decided to throw on four more songs and make this our full length, big push record. After recording all the tracks and doing some preliminary mixing @ Unsound, we sent it off to Carter Green of Green Jeans Studios in Wellington, KS for the final mix and master. We are forever indebted to Kyle and Carter for their mad skills, flawless work ethic and overall genius contribution to this album. As a band, these were some of the best times we've ever had and no matter how infinite our energy seemed to be, the whole experience was very laidback and incredibly comical. There's not much more that need be said. All listeners, we LOVE you! Please enjoy. Gackstatter.
