Take cover! Fun House Mirrors is back for another pass! Described as the sonic equivalent of a B-29 carpet bombing on it's first CD, the music of FHM continues to detonate in this second outing, "Seeing Stars." But it's not all thunder and lightening this time around. "Certain subversive rockabilly influences and country style harmonies creep into the mix, and even a couple of sensitive alternative singer/songwriter type numbers." says Michael Hodjera, chief writer, producer and musical perpetrator of the band. "Basically we tried and again miserably failed to take things too seriously this time around. No subject is off limits--angels, werewolves, Appalachian Americans, robbers, household pets and sundry miscellaneous wild furry vertebrates notwithstanding. The mood remains maddeningly chipper, the subject matter obtuse. It's lively. It's fun. It rocks. Now can we just get on with it?' The Fun House Mirrors projects are the product of an unholy alliance between hookmeister, singer, multi-instrumentalist and seasoned musical astronaut, Boulder Creek's own Michael Hodjera, and metal drummer Patrick Hughes of distant Aptos.
