Frank Tribble was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. After moving to Des Moines Iowa, he began his career as a professional musician playing in a variety of styles. R&B, Latin, Brazilian, Pop, funk and jazz were areas of most interest, but he prefers playing contemporary Jazz. Frank moved to Portland in 2002 and has been playing music since his arrival. The selections on Quite Frankly were all written by by Frank over the course of several years. Some have been previously recorded in other situations, but this project was produced by Frank. Frank Tribble has two other recordings under his name. 'Back Home' is a compilation of pop and R & B covers and Merging of Souls was recorded in partnership with Rod Leaverton who also produced that recording. Frank has performed with the Des Moines Big Band, Sam Salamone, Marchelle Jackson, Richie Cole and Bobbie Shue.
