Trying to Move on
Floord's music is a soul-filled, down-home, fusion of classic honky-tonk shufflers with contemporary rockin' country. Floord's addictive appeal began on the campus of Western Kentucky University six years ago. When Donny Alvey and Chad Moseley's lead guitars connected with David Rich's powerful control of the bass and Josh Mitcham's vocal strength, they knew they were destined to shake things up. 'The music was just an excuse for us to get together,' says Mitcham. 'The material that came from that is just the result of our unique chemistry and brotherhood.' Floord has stepped into the country scene by performing alongside some of the hottest acts in country music like Big and Rich, Little Big Town, Mark Wills, Kentucky Headhunters, Jack Ingram, Justin Moore, and many more.
