Soul of the Sea
Eric Beattie writes and performs original music in the San Francisco Bay Area. The focus has always been on creating new music with friends in the folk-rock-blues tradition that conveys with soul and humor the ups and downs we all encounter in life. Acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and vocals are his main media and he has performed numerous gigs in venues throughout northern California. If you live in the Bay Area, his band - The Party Ants - may be showing up at a gig near you. This CD is mainly the result of a very productive night at Get Reel Studios with Robert Preston at the recording helm in San Francisco during the summer of 2009. Mastered by Gary Hobish of A.
