Born Alejandro Guillett Ford on May 18 in Colon, Panama City, Panama. At a very young age attracted to a variety of musical genres such as Jazz, R&B, Rap, Hip Hop, Reggae Roots and Dancehall Reggae among others. His introduction into music production evolves in the mid 80's. In 1990 he meets Hector E. Welsh L., alias "El Dread", his actual manager who forms what became known as "The Wrecking Crew", formed by first duet "El Bandido & Radical", and the second duet "Mecho & Lucky". Represented by "The Dread" they begin to tour with well known sound systems Electrodisco, Sony Tape and others. Opportunity knocks to presentations with Nando Boom, Ness y Los Sensacionales, Jan & Suppouse, El General and many more upcoming artists, constantly receiving positive vibes and immense fan acceptance, leading to their first recording on various artists albums, "Spanish Reggae" and "Reggae en Espanol". His powerful but smooth voice always blending well with his songwriting skills, silently paving the way. In 1996 Ms. Celia Torres, manager to fellow Panamanian reggae singer Flex (Nigga), gave him the opportunity to audition for a various artist CD produced by Elian Davis titled "La Rosca" taken great accolades in this production, sharing the studio with another rising star "El Roockie", which was titled "Darle su Amor" (Give her your love), which became an international hit allowing both to thread new horizons and the beginning of many more collaborations between them. Following this he participated in several other various artist CD's as Comando, Da'Crew, Chalice, Da'Lighta and many others, including Ghetto 3:16 to which he recorded a song entitled "La Tragedia" (The Tragedy) which became an urban anthem in Panama and Costa Rica. In the year 2000, he recorded his first solo artist CD been the second Panamanian reggae artist to sign under the Sony Music record label behind close friend "Latin Fresh". This same year, he wrote and recorded one if not the most copied lyrics in Latin music entitled "Yo Soy Tu Maestro" on the Pesadilla 3 various artist album, which became an instant hit in Europe, Central and South America. In 2001 this tune became part of his first solo CD under the Sony Music record label entitled "ALPHA". Being that various artists albums was the way the cookie crumbled during this era in his native country Panama, he spent the next few years on the same train, until in 2009 he re-encounters himself with longtime friend "Hector E Welsh Lemos" AKA "El Dread". They both decide it's time to embark on new journeys and seek new horizons. Allied with upcoming superstar musician "Lloyd Sutherland" AKA "Rasta Lloyd" of New Sound Studio in Panama, fusing and creating new beats, backed by "TOP QUALITY PRODUCTIONS". This new project features as special guest "KAFU BANTON" one of the industry most prolific interpreters, "JAH KAYAN, vocalist of Panama's premier band "Raices y Cultura" and "EL KID', still standing as the country's top revelation artist. Armed with his allies, powerful lyrics and rhythms but maintaining the essence of his creed, but always inspired by the beauty of all women he brings to all music lovers this his new proposal, "212 Degrees".
