Standing 6'2' Donna is unique in that is she is tall, beautiful and multitalented. She has an amazing voice and can really deliver a song to her audience. She has shared the stages with major recording artists Kid Rock, Rascal Flatts, Travis Tritt and more. She has written with famous singer/songwriter's, such as Mark Gray (he wrote "The Closer You Get" and "Take Me Down" for Alabama). For over 20 years she has been writing songs and is affiliated with organizations such as NSAI and BMI. Donna can write in many genres of music but mainly focuses on Singer / Songwriter * Crossover Pop / Country, Alternative Rock and Soft Rock. Recently, she was asked to appear on WCSX radio host, Pam Rossi's UDetroit Live show. Donna has been nominated for several music awards and has performed "live" on several radio stations and famous syndicated radio programs such as The Mitch Albom Show in Detroit. One of Donnas' favorite guitar maker's is Gretsch guitars, she was featured on the front page of Gretsch's website in 2010 as a Gretsch Artist. As famous professional radio host, Mitch Slater recently quoted live on his radio program after playing Donnas' original song, And I Love You. "There are many great artists out there, but the sweet sounds of Donna Lee Holman, really hit home". Donna loves children and animals and supports a lot of charity organizations, like Make A Wish and The Smile Foundation. She also is involved with a dog and cat animal rescue organization called, Last Chance Rescue, which is based out of Howell, MI.
