DigitalDeb is the avatar of an analog entity named Deborah who aspires to be a Natural Radical. Designing media, writing songs, enjoying nature and implementing appropriate technology solutions take up all her time, so it's a miracle she ever got around to joining up with producer/guitar genius Lino from Bend, Oregon and recording this album of her original songs, written over a 20 year period. Recorded in Lino's studio as his dogs provided critical feedback, the songs transformed from campfire sing-a-longs to rockin' folk anthems as he layered tracks into a new interpretation of Deb's poetry and melodies. Lino brought in local Bend drummer Billy Kelleher and backing vocalist Sharon Grant to add rhythm and harmony to the production and singer-songwriter Harvey Swanson also generously agreed to add his deep resonant tones on several songs. Attempting to capture her life's journey on both outer and inner paths, Deb weaves words into a tapestry of textured design that may reveal different patterns of meaning depending on which way you look at it. She hopes you can enjoy the stories and observations contained in each song.
