Good Morning Jesus
De'Andre enjoys playing the keyboard, drums, bongos, singing and teaching others songs. He is a native of Port Arthur, Texas, with a passion for music. He is the youngest son of Mr. & Mrs. Darryl Nico. His relationship with God began at a very early age when he began singing in the bathroom. His parents noticed that he wasn't a child that played normal games as other children and he always had something to offer up to God. His parents stated "De'Andre would rather beat on pots and pans, act as our church drummer or use a bottle of oil to anoint everyone that came into our home. He would even stand on the dining room table and want everyone to listen to him preach a sermon when the only word he could say was Jesus. Every Sunday our Bishop would call him up at the end of service to sing his favorite song "Reach out and Touch." At the age of three he was offered a solo part in the Christmas program and when he was almost four years old, he amazed everyone singing the famous Whitney Houston song "Who Could Imagine a King." De'Andre is a member of New Beginning Word of God Ministries, where he writes music, plays music and sings. He is also the musician for the Adult Praise Worship Team and the Youth Choir as well as the Mass Choir. He sets the atmosphere each Sunday for the people to receive the Word of God. De'Andre is a member of the All Boys Choir at his school and has participated in the M. L. King, Jr. Celebration, singing a solo for the profound Greg O'Quin. He has shared in worship and singing on stage with the anointed Kurt Carr and has opened for the man of God Beau Williams. De'Andre has been in the presence of Kirk Franklin, John P. Kee and Brent Jones. His favorite singer of all times is Fred Hammond, and how he loves his music. He has graced some of the most profound Ministries, such as; Pastor C. L. Jackson - Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Kirby Jon Caldwell - Windsor Village United Methodist Church and others. De'Andre was in the lineup with Chris Walker, Regina Belle and Kirk Whalum where he rocked the house at "the Heart for Diabetes Concert" ...Benefiting The American Diabetes Association. He is starring in John Ruffin's inspirational stage play "Love the Hurt Away." De'Andre wrote and performs the title song "Love the Hurt Away," in the play. He auditioned to appear on "Showtime at the Apollo," and was chosen on the spot. De'Andre continues in his journey growing in the Word of God through the leadership of his parents Darryl and Johnna Nico along with his Pastor Eric Brisco, Sr., and the New Beginning Word of God Ministries where his anointing is being poured. Truly he is a very gifted and anointed young boy; Blessed from his mother's womb - "A Promised Seed." It is his desire to give his best to the best, Jesus Christ. De'Andre is looking forward to all the things God desires to do with him and through him. He is always reminded to give Praises to the Giver of his Gift.
