Formed in the fall of 2003, Dead Drive Fast began a songwriting bond that has lead to an array of hit-worthy material featured on their debut release, 'DDF'. Great stage presence and an interesting show reflect a sense of great rock music that has been missing in the music business for some time. It's members, Alias Alan (drums), Mike Simpson (bass/vocals), and jDouglas Cameron (guitar/vocals), bring a full spectrum of influences together to create a very raw, fresh rock sound that is sure to rapidly spread in popularity with it's universally appealing songs. Alias Alan began his drumming with various local St. Louis bands in the 80's, performing everything from ballads to heavy metal. A new-found enthusiasm was rekindled in the late nineties and the quest for the perfect musical situation began. Time spent wood-shedding and working with numerous musicians paid off when Dead Drive Fast formed in 2003. Since that time, Alias and the other band members have strived to make their group and music unique in every way, universal to all rock tastes, while remaining professional and dedicated to the highest degree. Michael Lee has been playing in mid-west bands for the past 13 years and continues to thrill crowds with his high-energy stage presence, intense sound, and harmonic vocals. His song-writing skills and powerhouse sound have graced bands such as Blind Date, 4:20, The Filter Kings, Nimbus, and now...Dead Drive Fast. JDouglas Cameron has been a performing songwriter in St. Louis for 10 years. As a solo artist, and in such bands as Channel Zero, Gypsy Project, and Moe's Fashion, jDouglas has been featured on such shows as 'Mid-Coast Mania', 'Acoustic Cafe', and 'The Bill Clevlin Show'. He brings to the band a creative and unique songwriting style as well as a charismatic and personable stage presence. With his hook-oriented, radio-ready songwriting style and classic guitar sounds, jDouglas brings a new flavor to the St. Louis sound.
