â? DAY FOUR â? Day Four is a group of Catholic musicians performing all original material on guitars, bass, hammered dulcimer, mountain dulcimer, concertina, drums and a variety of other percussion instruments. Their singing will often include tight four part harmonies. While the name might fool you, Day Four is actually a five person band. The musician lineup and their roles within Day Four are as follows: * Mike Kachuba: acoustic guitar, hammered dulcimer, mountain dulcimer, concertina and vocals * Vin Pescosolido: acoustic guitar, electric bass and vocals * Noel Burke: electric bass, acoustic and electric guitars and vocals * Rich Guerra: lead electric, acoustic guitars and vocals * Steve Surianski: drums and percussion While most of the songs performed by Day Four are written by Mike Kachuba, the entire band arranges each song for the finished product. Each band member comes from a different musical background and this variety gives Day Four a wide range of styles from pop, jazz, and rock to folk and roots music. The band name comes from the Cursillo movement in the Catholic Church. In Cursillo, the fourth day is the rest of your life after completing a three day 'little course' in Catholicism. The band uses music in it's fourth day to share the love of God with it's audiences. Day Four's first recording 'This Side of the Light' was released in 2001. Their second recording, 'Zaccheus', was released in 2002. Leo Robinson played bass and sang on both recordings, but left the band in 2002. Noel Burke then joined the band and the musical growth has continued as well as the commitment to serve God through this music ministry. Day Four is available for concerts, workshops or service music. Please contact: Mike Kachuba 174 Anson Street Stratford CT 06614 203-378-4764 e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
