From a very early age, David felt a growing sense of purpose rooted in creation; and over the past twenty years, passion for growth has become empowered by purpose. Early years David's father was tragically disabled (mentally and physically) in a pedestrian / vehicle accident when David was just seven years old. Five years later, after his mother had received a year of dreams and scriptural affirmation, she passed away. At the age of thirteen he was relocated to Saskatchewan to live with an aunt and uncle. He later met and married his high school sweetheart, Karen. Middle years Driven by a passion for growth, David moved on and quickly rose to leadership through several positions at a local company, then on through a variety of CEO and General Management positions over the next 10 years. After twenty-one years of marriage, David and Karen are still happily married and consider each other to be best friends. The future David left the security of corporate salary to pursue a new vocation as a creative communicator. David is a powerful key-note and motivational speaker, presenting to a diverse spectrum of audiences on calibrating the journey of life. Having performed songs for audiences since his early teens, songwriting became a natural step in David's progression as a communicator. His music is thought provoking, rich in metaphor and deep introspection. His first song, written in the summer of 2000, opened the door for four full length recordings of original material. David's album, The Journey, chronicles his transition from a management career to simply and transparently encouraging people in to experience fulfillment through the pursuit and ongoing alignment of passion purpose and performance.
