For me, music is a way of making a deep and meaningful connection to others, which is partly why I'm also a music therapist. These songs were written over a period of 35 years and represent a kind of musical autobiography. I am a 'child of the 60's' and attended the original Woodstock in 1969. Some of the songs may express the values as well as the overall feeling of the 60's but I don't think that the meaning of the songs are confined to a particular era. My songs are an attempt to make sense of life in a way that raises questions rather than tries to provide answers.
