I've been playing guitar for many decades, finger picking and slide, harmonica almost as long, in a rack or not. Started with folk music (Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, PPM, Pete Seeger), then mellow country blues (John Hurt, Elizabeth Cotton, Mance Lipscomb), then Delta blues (Robert Johnson, Tommy Johnson, Son House), older electric blues (Fred McDowell, Muddy Waters, Rice Miller, Elmore James), modern interpretations (John Hammond, Bonnie Raitt, Sid Selvidge, Rory Block), and an eclectic mix of many others, slowly fusing into something I like that keeps evolving. I play a large number and variety of songs, some represented here in Brownie's Blues. Most are covers of older music, some I write or modify from the original. Hopefully I add something to each.
