And the Blind Shall Lead Them
David Fayne got his first taste of rockin' out on stage at the age of 3. Back then, his guitar was plastic, but his vocals and stage presence were 100% natural. Not much has changed since then. David is still rockin', albeit on a Gibson now. Influenced by such talents as Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Bob Marley and James Taylor, David taught himself to play guitar as a teenager. And while the term, "play by ear" may be a cliché, in David's case, it's accurate. Diagnosed as a child with a degenerative retinal disease known as Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), David's lack of sight forces him to rely on his pitch-perfect sense of sound to lead him. His lyrics are heartfelt and his vocals are complemented by the acoustic rock sound of the Blind Man Walking band that brings his debut CD to life. There's nothing plastic about "And the Blind Shall Lead Them". David Fayne is the real deal.
