Way to Survive / All She Did Was Fall in Love
Country Music legend Darrell McCall has long been one of the true believers in Traditional Country Music. During his last fifty years in the industry, he has produced some of the finest Traditional Country sounds. In this special collection, Darrell called on his long time friends in the industry throughout Nashville to create that special sound filled with the wonderful steel guitar sounds of fellow Ray Price bandmate Buddy Emmons. The album is then surrounded by Pete Wade, Jimmy Capps, Greg Galbreath, Brent Mason and Kenny Penny on lead guitar, David Smith, Ronnie Hughes and Danny Davis on bass guitar, Paul Cook, Bob Mater, Gene Christman, Jerry Kroon and Buddy Harmon on drums, Bunky Keels, Tim Atwood, Buddy Harom on Piano, Hank Singer on the fiddle and backed by the background vocals of the Carol Lee Singers, Guyane McCall, Mona McCall and Sam Bardin. As Hank Williams Jr. says in the liner notes, 'Not only in Darrell a terrific singer, but he is also an accomplished musician..a real trend setter.'
