Dear Listener, Thank you for listening to 'Pondering Again - Musical Meanderings for Life in the Moment.' This is the second in a series of collections of my own compositions and arrangements. I have performed and edited all of the music in these pieces. The intention of some of these selections is to evoke a trance-like, relaxed feeling. In my life as a psychotherapist/social work consultant (my 'day job'), I find many people need to learn how to "let go." Music is a wonderful way to relax or get distracted. Some of my music hearkens to one of Milton Erikson's hypnosis tools - the confusion technique. One of my aspirations is to help the listener relax and go with the flow of the moment, allowing any stress or responsibilities to be put aside. My hope, dear listener, is that you not only enjoy this music, but that you derive some personal health or emotional benefit as well. Although I have a bachelor's degree in music, I partially ignored a lost love of mine, composing and arranging music, for over twenty years. An 'old dream come true' finally did when I found out about midi and computer aided composition. Not only am I able to play over myself with piano, or guitar (my primary instruments), every sort of virtual/software instrument is at my fingertips. Thanks for listening!
