In Search of Fire
This is my first CD and was released on Rainband records. Before I signed with them, I had already written a lot of music, so I combined some of those early songs with several new ones to give the CD a broader range of style and expression. There's feel of pop/jazz, country, rock, & even R&B on this recording. Highlights are: 'A Place called Mulege,' 'Doggone Shame,' 'Oceano,' and 'One of These Days.' Recorded at one of Southern California's most prestigious studios on analog, the music has a warm presentation that introduces me as a songwriter, singer, and guitarist. It also laid the ground work for recording with some great session players, and especially a few of the musicians that I was performing with on a regular basis.
