Dripping with was originally recorded in 2006 on a cell phone, the song is a minute long because this was how long the phone could record for, the song was resurrected in 2010 by playing it back through the pickup of the guitar that it was written on. 2. Awake and on fire, was recorded in 2010 at Keesing Audio. The song was recorded through and old wooden gramophone horn. 3. Reggae circus, was recorded in the stairwell at my house in 2010, with Keesing Audio, the sound of cicadas in the sun create a natural backing track. 4. Cut off my face and throw me to a hurricane, was recorded on a beautiful day, the sound of birds in the trees accompany this tune. Recorded in 2009. 5. When the snow falls, was unplanned and improvised, recorded one night after sneaking in to the university music auditorium, the batteries in my tape dictaphone were running flat and i was lucky to have captured what i did, as this music would have been lost. A text message from a friend is heard in the closing of the song, this closing later became the intro for Beet-root sun & tinsel melody. Recorded in 2009 6. Was written for my friend, after we bought shoe laces together, written in 2009 on a Harmonium, the echo on the recording is the Harmonium sound going through my hollow body electric guitar and some delay. 18. Sea of love, was inspired by the classic love song, originally written in 1959 by John Phillip Baptiste, later versions have been-covered by Tom Waits, and Cat power. My version is not a cover but an inspired gesture.
