Make It Easy for Me
Knowing what you want to do with your life is easy, getting there is the hard part. Cori knew she was destined to be a performer. Growing up with her Grandfather and brother who are actors, she was in and around the spotlight from an early age. She appeared in her first professional stage production when she was 7 years old. By the time she was 8 she was a regular performer at the Cowtown Coliseum where she sang the National Anthem and entertained the crowds during intermission. Cori was a founding member of mpowered.org, a group of singers and dancers who perform high energy shows for schools, events and private parties in the DFW area. She is just as comfortable performing in front of thousands as she is in more intimate settings. Either way she gives her all and her enthusiasm is contagious. Cori never wavered in her decision to become a singer, even when others discouraged her from entering such a competitive and demanding field. She would always respond with "Singing and performing is where my heart is. My life wouldn't be complete without it." Growing up the in Dallas/Fort Worth area, there were plenty of opportunities to perform, from theatre to charity and sporting events. Cori was able to sing somewhere almost every weekend while she patiently counted down to her 18th birthday. On Christmas Eve 2009, Cori's 18th birthday, she announced that she was ready to start working on her music career full time. Monthly trips to Nashville took up most of the following year and the results can be heard on the enclosed CD. Coming from a family of actors, and having experience in that field as well, Cori decided to make a music video of her song Make It Easy For Me, which can be viewed on her website.
