Three outstanding musicians, playing together for the first time! Wayne Shorter once said, "To hell with the rules, I'm going for the unknown." That is exactly what the musicians did on this recording: no talks about tunes, keys, solos, or tempos; they just started playing, to see where the music would take them. And as listeners will hear, it was quite a trip!
