Trade My Lonesome
New York Singer/Songwriter Cody Melville teamed up with Detroit musicians Mitch Carlton (drums), and Beth Regan (keyboards) to record 'Trade My Lonesome' at Tempermill Studios. The sessions were expertly recorded and mastered by engineer Jim Kissling. Guitar, drums and Keyboards were recorded live to 2' analog tape and the vocals, bass, and additional guitars were overdubbed by Melville once Kissling dumped the analog tracks into Pro tools. The finished sound provides genuine analog tape compression feel and heart as well as first rate sonic power from the digital phase.
