Born in New York City, I hated piano lessons forced upon me at age 5. At age 34, I renewed my interest in piano and began playing and composing. EWF was a big influence as well as the orchestration in Barry White's/Christopher Cross' songs. I played with an afro-Cuban salsa band therefore, I'm big on syncopated rhythms with a latin feel. I played cello, guitar, bass, drums and sax during my high school years and I feel as though those experiences have enabled me to compose music with a real sense of what each instumentalist would project in a song. I have a lovely wife, Nancy, and two sons, Clinton and Cameron.
