For All the World
Christopher Espinosa is an independent producer and singer-songwriter/instrumentalist that was born in Visalia, CA, to a father from Hawai'i and a mother from Oklahoma. His earliest years of his youth were spent in California and Hawai'i, while the majority of it was spent in the rural outskirts of Tahlequah, OK. Guitar playing came several years after the campfire, the Blues Brothers, and the church house inspired a love and interest in the harmonica; however, songwriting and experimenting/obsessions with other instruments came almost simultaneously with the love of guitar. During all this time, influences from classic artists such as Paul Simon, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepplin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Nick Drake, Otis Redding, etc., to youthful period influences such as Rage Against the Machine, U2, Weezer, Stone Temple Pilots, Live, Counting Crows, etc., to more modern influences such as Ray Lamontagne, Dispatch, Xavier Rudd, and Damien Rice. The local Oklahoma band, Suncast, was a collaborative effort of him and some of his closest friends from high school and college. More recently, the United States Coast Guard, collaborative musical efforts around the USA, and an a love of travel have occupied his time and mind. Family, friends, and the issues of the modern world have been the main focuses and driving forces behind the lyrics and songs of this up and coming artist's first independently released album, 'For All the Word.' A special thanks goes out to Alina Talladen, Ben Magallon, Ben Lorio, and Ruby Rendrag for their help in making this album possible.
