Christine Vales began ministering in music in 1998. Her original works have fallen graciously upon the hearts and minds of many from her hometown in New Jersey to across the country and currently along coastal Georgia where she now resides. Listeners, both in and out of Christian circles, find themselves relating to the stories in her prolific lyrics and singing the captivating melodies of Truth in her music. Christine began using her musical gifts for the Lord with several bands in the NY/NJ area. In 1999, she formed "The Rockflowers", a three girl band that quickly gained recognition from the Gospel Music Association, winning the National Semi-Finals for Best Contemporary Christian Band in 2002. In 2003, Christine went solo, as the Lord nudged her heart back to minister to her local roots, serving and inspiring people from diverse backgrounds through concerts, coffeehouses, women's retreats and worship gatherings. In 2009, Christine started teaching guitar and songwriting to young women and began mentoring and raising up the church's next generation of worship leaders and youth bands. Christine also follows His lead outside the church walls, singing the national anthem at sporting events for the NBA and MLB as well as sharing songs of hope to hurting hearts at Ground Zero. This year, 2012, Christine is releasing her long awaited third CD entitled "Masterpiece." All of her discography has been produced by Dove Award winner and friend, Plink Giglio. Christine currently resides with her husband Carlos, on beautiful Saint Simons Island, Georgia. Christine continues to lift her voice to the Lord and her eyes to the fields...for they are already white for harvest! John 4:35.
