Way She Moves
This CD is The Fevers first studio release since the band formed one year ago. Recorded in four days at Portrait Recording Studios in Pompton Plains NJ. Engineered by Chris Badami, the songs on this CD reach out from the disc to the ears in a fresh and innovative fashion. Christina's writing proves to be truly original and highly creative. The seasoned performances from the rest of the band are sticking to the ear and very inventive. Christina's ability to paint a picture with words and music, along with the bands sensitive layering of powerful melodies and counter lines insures that this CD will stand the test of time. The opening track 'Beautiful Train Wreck' starts off with an catchy acoustic intro then blazes into a 3 minute pop tune that races along from the moment the band kicks in. By contrast 'No More Pictures' paints a bigger lyrical picture. With syncopated rhythms and lofty verses, the band hammers along side Christina's driving acoustic guitar and then breaks stride in the bridge to an almost jazz-like performance utilizing bass overlays, angular electric guitar.
