On the Brink
"On The Brink" is the first album by singer/guitarist Chris Delis. It features Chris' vocals, strong songwriting skills and his virtuoso guitar playing. A transplanted Midwesterner to the east coast. Chris has always assimilated different musical styles and influences along the way. This translates into an eclectic style that is his own. From Jimi Hendrix to Jerry Reed to Albert King to Jeff Beck with some Wes Montgomery along with pop influences like the Eagles to Peter Gabriel, Seal, The Beatles and others Chris' strong sense of melody and lyrical guitar playing translate into a unique listening experience. Often compared vocally to Don Henley he is right at home with an alternative edged song as well as a country pop tune. Living in the NYC area for a number of years Chris has been busy as a session guitarist as well as a live performer. Most notably Chris has also played for the Broadway musical productions of "RENT," the Who's "Tommy," Elton John's "Aida," and most recently the Elvis musical "All Shook Up," and many others. "On The Brink" was produced by Chris and Gary Georgett.
