Chloe Johns (Originally from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, with family in Muskogee) Although she has just been introduced to the Nashville Scene, Chloe Johns has already attracted the likes of prominent songwriters such as Roger Murrah (Murrah Music), Mark Nessler (Disney Publishing), Ray Stephenson (Curb), Becky Hobbs (independent), Terri Jo Box (Merf Music Group), Eric Landis (independent), and Ellis Paul. These writers have been known to write major hits for artists such as Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Keith Urban, Rascal Flats, George Straight, Billy Currington, Alabama, Martina McBride, Willie Nelson, Guy Clark, Steve Wariner, Tanya Tucker, Reba McEntire, and Wynona. Chloe has been singing basically since she learned to walk. Music has always been a part of her life. She plays guitar, piano, and the autoharp. Her influences include Fleetwood Mac, The Judd's, The Wreckers, Elvis Presley, John Pine, Ryan Adams, Gillian Welch, The Dixie Chicks, Blue Mother Tupelo, and The Turnpike Troubadours. Producer/Songwriter, Ray Hamilton knew he had found something special when he first listened to Chloe's music. They co-wrote 'We Were Young' during their first songwriting session, and when they pitched the song to Roger Murrah (President of Murrah Music and Senior Vice President of Bug Music Nashville) he was floored. Roger was so impressed by Chloe's performance, that he offered let Chloe cut one of his songs for her Debut Album. We have also had the pleasure of working with one of Nashville's great producer/songwriters Wayne Kirkpatrick (Writer for Little Big Town, Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, Eric Clapton, Amy Grant, and Michael W. Smith). Wayne sang a cameo on " Take All The Sky" and back up vocals on the song "Love out Loud" on her Debut Album. We have also had the pleasure of working close with a phenomenal guitarist/vocalist/producer by the name of Chris Rodriguez, who currently performs with Keith Urban and Kenny Loggins. Other musicians include Steel Guitarist- Mike Johnson (Carrie Underwood and Terri Clark), and Engineer/Drummer- Matt Coles (Brad Paisley). "Chloe Johns is the kind of artist that only comes along once in a great while. Her talent is larger than life, yet she retains the sort of 'real', soulful earthiness that you might find in a roadhouse, a cafe or a little dive on the outskirts of town" Ray Hamilton "Music, to me, is much more than just putting words to a melody. It's about creating a song that can affect a person on their most basic level. I enjoy making music that takes you to a different place and allows you to escape" Chloe Johns.
