Shea Weaver is a Singer/Songwriter from Norman Oklahoma. Most songs he writes are recorded at his makeshift studio in the third bedroom of his house. The majority of his songs are humorous and silly in nature to begin with, so combined with the childlike wonderment that he never grew out of children's music was the perfect fit. Shea met Andy Hunt through a mutual friend. As an accomplished Producer/Singer/Songwriter himself Andy also owns and operates Wide Studios in Nashville Tennessee. And aside from his studio, Andy has many ongoing projects, one of which had been a desire to create a children's record. After hearing one of Shea's homemade songs, they contacted each other and talked in detail how about a vision to not only create a fun children's album that kids could really relate to, but songs that would hopefully be appreciated and enjoyed by adults as well. The goal was to use quality musicians to create catchy melodies, energetic rhythms along with clever and amusing lyrics to drawn the listener in, and not just a bunch of cartoon sound effects. The two collaborated and after hiring some of the best musicians in the business their dream came together in Cheezecoat.
