For General Exhibitionism
This is a classic Australian ska-punk album with full D.I.Y. ethic and raucous noise. The guitars are furious and the horns are frantic. Cheese Excursion at the time of this recording were disillusioned youth from country Victoria with nothing to do but blast the kids away with vicious dancehall grooves with screaming vocal chords. It's jittery, it's eclectic, this is late-90's ska-core/swing with an Aussie perspective. Songs that will get stuck in your brain in LOW-FI Stereo. Artwork is full of humorous anarchist propaganda mocking patriotism and the mainstream way of life. Produced entirely at home and on a budget of nothing, this is as home-made as it gets. Word. Here is what some reviewers said: "up there with some of the better stuff coming from Australia" -Beanz Baxter Magazine "more than a few impressive tracks" -Pee Zine "a disc that grew on me with each listen" -Skammunicator.
