Charessa's voice/delivery/looks are the complete definition of Pop and Pop/R+B Crossover music. Her story is almost word for word the story of the great Recording Artists of the past 50 years. She grew up in Klamath Falls, Oregon, started singing as a child, and moved to Hollywood as a teenager. No small task for a single, and beautiful girl with a voice that leaves one spellbound. Upon arriving in LA, she immediately joined a church Choir, a Pop/Rock Band, and was voted best Vocalist at the prestigious Musician's Institute of Hollywood! When she was recently discovered by veteran and successful music managers and producers in LA, they made her an equal partner in their companies, Perpetuate Music/Perpetuate Songs. They knew they had stumbled upon a diamond in the rough and an artist that deserved the respect of being totally involved with the direction of her career. As obvious as this sounds, in fact it's VERY RARE that a record Label and management/production team will ever make a recording artist a partner and/or give them equal say on the business side of things. In a music business that has become exceedingly jaded and indifferent, not to mention completely impatient when it comes to developing and nurturing new talent, Charessa is a much needed breath of fresh air. She has gotten to this point the old fashioned way; hard work, touring, and many years of total dedication to realizing her dream. This is not a TV manufactured 'overnight' Recording Artist. Charessa IS THE REAL DEAL.
