Product notities

The CD showcases their sound in 8 tracks that take the listener through a library of shredding riffs and driving rhythms, complete with in studio improvisation that harks of the late 60's, early 70's west coast progressive scene. It's interesting to note that in fact, the record was recorded on analog tape and mixed on an analog console before ever converting it to digital format. This is not only uncommon in modern music, it adds to the raw, "no trickery" sound of the band, exemplified shamelessly on this recording. '...obviously very talented...' - Jennifer McConnell, IC ARTIST AGENCY The lyrics of two time Madison Area Music Award (MAMA) nominee Nick Stanecki brush on the obvious while maintaining an element of mystery, sometimes telling stories, and other times imploring the listener to take note of the crazy ways of the world. In one song entitled "OK So What?" Stanecki rants, "Once again we're overcharged for who we are", following up with "you're just like a drifter - caught out in a thunderstorm". Musically, the record shows the maturity of drummer Ryan Bestul (formerly Landfill Park, Atomic Blue, Lethargic Overdrive) and is largely, at the core driven by a freight train, straight ahead style of playing. "...slamming at his kit like a regular John Bonham" said Rick Tvedt - Rick's Café - Wisconsin's Regional Music News. The precise bass work of James Giesen and guitar work of Nick Stanecki (formerly Skip the Middle Man, Lethargic Overdrive) also add to this, while drifting into spacey, note filled sections "...very melodic tunes in the mold of the best instrumental Wishbone Ash and Djam Karet" declares Rick Tvedt - Rick's Café - Wisconsin's Regional Music News -'It doesn't get anymore live and loud than that!' Z104 WMZK Homegrown host Ken-.
