Sometimes We Lose Faith
Chad and Cory are brothers who both come from vast musical backgrounds that include influences in rock, folk, country, jazz, classical, and many more. They bring this mixture of styles into their own music using acoustic instruments such as guitars and Cajon (percussion) with vocal harmonies, creating a sound that is all their own. "Sometimes We Lose Faith" is an introduction into the musical world that is "Chad and Cory". It is intimate and modest in it's approach with the goal of connecting to the listener in a way that is rare with many popular, modern artists. There are songs of self reflection, life, love, loss, and youthful optimism. In this album you will find songs that waltz and songs that rock; songs that will follow you (appropriately) for a country drive and songs that are right at home on the beach or at your local watering hole. You will hear characteristics of Jackson Browne and Elvis Costello with hints of Simon and Garfunkel and Amos Lee.
