The philosophy at the Center for Church Music is simple: We believe that music, and in particular, singing, is one of the most important of all human activities. The latest scientific findings support what Scripture and 2,000 thousand years of church history have revealed: music, intelligence, and learning are significantly related. That is, singing materially affects our actions. Therefore, singing's role in church music is vital to the health of the church. (See Ephesians 3:18, 19; Colossians 3:16) What we sing is important! Through an attractive and winsome presentation, we believe that hymns (and Psalms) can again become a centerpiece of a strategy to empower and encourage Christians. At the heart of the Center for Church Music is the belief that powerful hymn singing can again be the mark of the church--a church that is vibrant and energetic in the singing of it's faith.
