It Is Well with My Soul
Inspirational, uplifting, sincere, and anointed are just a few words that describe the music ministry of Cathy Miller-Robinson. Cathy's love for God is felt through her soulful voice, and her debut CD, 'It Is well With My Soul', captures the powerful presence of God's Spirit as she ministers through song. Cathy is a native of Huntsville, Alabama and has been singing since age seven. Her parents (The late Edward A. Miller and Gracie A. Miller) introduced her to God at an early age and from that moment she fell in love with Him. Cathy knew her ministry would some day be through her music, but she waited patiently for God's direction. In 2004, Cathy was led to follow her dream. "It Is Well With My Soul," is Cathy's first Gospel C.D., and her dream is to share the Gospel of Christ, through her music, to the world so someone will be saved, changed and healed. Cathy studied piano and voice from the late Kaiho DeCerbo at an early age and began sharing her vocal talent first in her church where she still sings today with the First Missionary Baptist Church (FMBC) choir under the leadership and guidance of her Pastor Dr. Julius R. Scruggs (President of National Baptist Convention USA, Inc.). Cathy has worked with several national and international recording artist such as Eddie Spanky Alfred, J. D. Blair, Sounds of Blackness, Mervyn Warren (formerly of take 6) as well as a host of others. Cathy has also traveled with the UAH Village Singer's, Alabama A&M Jazz Band, Victory Network Singer's, Al Lewis Singer's, United Voices of Praise, and Ceads of Joy.
