Experience Yoga has been a growing seed for me for many years, a self professed "perpetual student" of yoga, constantly collecting skills & knowledge, building my own approach to wellness and watching it blossom. The idea behind creating this CD is to give people the opportunity to experience yoga. Not to be overdone with rules,reminders or discussion..... A simple guided yoga class for the purpose of self healing, self realization, enlightenment and pure joy. Allowing the people I surround myself with to inspire me helps create the programs I offer and has shaped the heart of my teaching style. Where there is a need for healing the physical, emotional or spiritual, yoga has it's place. From simply building core strength in someone who has been bed ridden, by bringing strength and flexibility back in to damaged muscle tissue or reducing stress with breath work, yoga fills many rolls where our healing is the concern. Yoga: The addition to our western workout regime. A traditional western exercise program directs our focus to the muscles, bones, tendons & ligaments, typicaly directing our awareness to the physical. Yoga as 'exercise' let's us deep into the body, stimulating our nerves, glands & internal organs on top of the benefits to our muscles, bones, tendons & ligaments. The practice of yoga insists on an equal amount of attention being given to the breath, and the mind body conection. Yoga is so much more than 'exercise' it is pure liberation! By way of yoga & meditation programs, and by setting inspirational examples of health and wellness to all who participate or inquire with us. We believe that yoga is one of the great gateways to body/mind and soul survival. We are so enthusiastic about your interest in wellness that we take it on the road! With our 'Wellness on Wheels' programs we unfold a mobile yoga studio at the location of your choice, complete with mats, music, & candles!
