Carol Comune's technical precision and lyricism has earned her a reputation as one of today's premiere pianists, performing extensively throughout the Eastern United States both as a soloist and as a chamber musician with featured recitals at New England Conservatory, Gardner Museum, Lonfellow National Historic Site, Boston; Lincoln Center, Steinway Gallery, New York City; Conservatory of Music, Flagler Museum, Kravis Center, Palm Beach County and on National Public Radio. A multi -talentd musician, as a Teacher, an American Composer, Recording Artist and Steinway Artist, has produced seven albums of original compositions and arrangements in the New Age genre, Contemporary and Classical repertoire through her company Elegant Entertainment & Co.(BMI) founded in 1985. Her critcally acclaimed albums are featured on Commercial and National Public Radio in the United States and Canada, the Far East, Europe and Internet radio. Carol Comune started her piano studies at the age of three and received a scholarship for piano and solfege with Mme. Yvonne Combe at the French School of Music in Plainfield, New Jersey. Ms. Comune is a graduate from the New England Conservatory of Music, BM in Piano Performance with David Hagan; Continued Graduate Studies in Piano Pedogogy with Jean Stackhouse (NEC); Composition with John Felice (NEC) and influential mentor Donald Waxman and concert pianist Anthony di Bonaventura, a master teacher of international stature and pupil of the celebrated Russian teacher Madame Isabelle Vengerova. Ms. Comune resides with her husband Rick and daughter Gealyn in Jupiter, Florida and Easton, Pennsylvania.
