You Can't Control the Weather
Carley's next project was going to be called Ordinary Stone. Then a string of calamities struck: the project was halted, the track list was scrapped, and the players disappeared. Faced with an even longer gap between albums, Carley learned to take these setbacks in stride: she retooled the track list, re-enlisted players, and managed to produce her finest effort yet: You Can't Control The Weather. In light of how unpredictable circumstances can be, the new title of the album serves as a reminder that sometimes things happen that are beyond one's control; it is up to each of us whether we want to get upset, or roll gracefully with whatever comes our way.
