Somewhere between the rush of driving vehicles dangerously fast and the good memories formed when hanging with close friends and family resides the pulse and vibe in Carbellion's music. Easily one of the hardest working bands to hail from the mid-west, Carbellion's blazing guitars, skillful drums, and soulful vocals weave together strands of heavy southern rock with flourishes of grunge. Knowing when to kick ass, take part, ease past, and break hearts musically, the band never fails to entertain and captivate the audience with an exchange of energy between the stage and the crowd so interlocked it borderlines spiritual. Carbellion debuted on the indie scene in late 2006 with their full length debut album titled "Villains" and gained a cult following of fans desiring songs with classic rock's feel and modern hard rock's attack. Shortly following the release the band was quickly scooped up by Indiana based and aptly named Indie 500 Records as a means to bring an aggressive side to their roster. They re-released "Villains" and the band went on the road touring around the US headlining honky tonks and clubs some nights and opening for such acts as Motorhead, COC, Clutch, Shinedown, Trouble, and Valient Thorr on others. The band released their follow up full length album titled "The Horse" in November of 2009 via a joint venture between Indie 500 Records/ Union 414 Records in the US and Dead Tree Music in the EU the time spent cutting through highway in a van and subsequent life experiences gathered lend themselves strongly to the lyrical themes and musical growth the band showcase on their sophomore album. 2010 will have Carbellion back on the road with tentative tours planned for the east coast and southern regions of the US with a European leg in the fall.
