One Fa Tha Money
The words confidence, swagger and creative all can be used to describe a new breed of talent rising out of the city of Detroit. They call him Cap and he is on a mission to prove that he is the definition of all three words. A resident of the Westside of Detroit, MI born and raised Cap is proving why many are considering him the key to the lock of the industry door for the city. His complex and unique style makes him a threat lyrically to any opponent while in the same breath his niche for song writing makes him different from the rest of the talented rappers in the city of Detroit. In fact, his gift for song writing and knowing what the people wants gives him the room to possibly become a national success. He also is one of the few true performers in music in which he states ' I live to perform I love feeding off others energy, I love the spotlight.' Already showcasing his lyrical abilities on many features and also on albums (PFL: The compilation, Underground Platinum, Vol.1) he now is on a mission to break into mainstream. His first official release slated to be out early 2007 is entitled 'One fa tha Money' and chooses to play more towards different moods of music. 'This album is basically what the people want, not me; what they dance to everyday, download everyday or ride to everyday with a Cap twist of course'. For this album he has enlisted two of the hottest up and coming producers in the city, Sunny Red and B. Mills. The lead single which is starting to create noise in local clubs and strip clubs is 'Next thing you Know' produced by B. Mills. The year 2007 promises to be big for Cap and if his thoughts are correct big for the city of Detroit also. ';.
